One Nation Under God
One Nation Under God we live
Think about all some had to give
We the people share freedom's life
In a world of ever present strife
Be grateful to those who keep this true
Warriors of our red, white, and blue
They're trained by those of great skill
Honed to perform, so strong their will
They show what love is all about
They'll fight for us, there is no doubt
Defending bravely what we are
No holding back each heartfelt star
Highly praise these men and women
Giving thanks time and again
Those in uniform will always be
The golden pride of this country

Remember to say the Chaplet of Divine Mercy

at the Hour of Great Mercy - 3 o'clock!
A link to recite the prayers ~ http://www.ewtn.com/Devotionals/mercy/dmmap.htm
Reasons to recite the Chaplet of
Divine Mercy!
Souls who spread the honor of My mercy I shield through their entire life as a tender mother her infant, and at the
hour of their death I will not be a Judge for them, but the Merciful Savior (Diary, 1075).
I desire trust from My creatures,
Jesus told Saint Faustina. Encourage souls to place great trust in My fathomless mercy (Diary, 1059). He also
said, I demand from you deeds of mercy, which are to arise out of love
for Me. You are to show mercy to your neighbors always and everywhere. You must not shrink from this or try to excuse or absolve yourself from it.
I am giving you three ways of exercising mercy towards you neighbor: the first - by deed, the second - by word, and the third - by prayer. In
these three degrees is contained the fullness of mercy and it is an unquestionable proof of love for Me. By this means a soul glorifies and pays reverence to
My mercy (Diary, 742).
All those souls who will glorify My Mercy and spread its worship, encouraging others to trust in My mercy, will not experience terror at the hour of death.
My mercy will shield them in that final battle…(Diary, 1540).
"By this Novena, [of Chaplets] I will grant every
possible grace to souls." (796)
Divine Mercy devotees should perform at least one act of mercy towards their neighbor every day, as this is what the Lord
Himself expects of them (see Diary, 1158).

Me, dh & dd 12-08
Our little family came into the Catholic Church in 2000 from a 30 Evangelical Bible Christian
backround and after a massive historical search (involving the early church fathers and of course going through the reformation), 2 huge notebooks later and
enough undeniable knowledge of the true church, extreme desire for the sacraments, AND a BEST friend and her lovely Catholic family who faithfully prayed the
Rosary for 10 YEARS with this intent! -- we came into the fullness of our Christianity! Thanks be to God... Not even one year after that I was diagnosed with
Breast Cancer and am a survivor of 6 years. I clung to the sacraments during that time and truly had my time of trials and testing.
(Me on my birthday of which I welcome & celebrate to God's Glory!)
Okay ~ Now would someone please tell me how they go from "one" to "twenty-one" so amazingly F-A-S-T ???!!!
(Our dd all grown up!!!)

The message of The Divine Mercy was an instrumental one in our conversion to the Roman
Catholic Church. On our journey we were given the Diary of Faustina and read portions of it almost nightly.
We were amazed at her simple yet profound words of faith and trust! Many of the same things we had also heard in our prior Protestant church from the pulpit,
so that is part of what drew us in - what we had in common with the Catholic Church. It was only down the road that we began learning of the true Presence of
Our Lord Jesus through her writings.
We also searched the Early Church Fathers who wrote of these things.
Hoping soon to post pictures of our Mass of Family Celebration that our dear Priest gave us especially to enter the Church back in the Year of the Jubilee
2000!
